Any purchaser of a property can apply for an Aussie Deposit Bond including:
- existing property owners
who wish to purchase property,
- investors who wish to expand their property portfolio,
- first home purchasers, and

most commercial property purchases.
A non-refundable application fee of $110 (including GST) applies to each application and is included in the Bond fee payable if issued.
